Eligibility
Applicants interested in the Wellington International Excellence Scholarships are to take note of the following eligibility criteria:
1. Applicants must be international students paying full tuition fees.
2. Applicants must have successfully completed at least two full academic years (Year 12 and Year 13) at a New Zealand secondary school.
3. Applicants must be enrolled in the first year of their first undergraduate degree.
4. Applicants must have NCEA Level 2 (or 3 if taken in year 12) attested by an excellence distinction or an equivalent qualification.
These scholarships are for international students who have completed at least two full years of secondary education (grades 12 and 13) at a New Zealand secondary school. In addition, these students must be enrolled at Te Herenga Waka, Victoria University of Wellington, in the first quarter of the year following application. Please note that the award of these scholarships will be competitive and are based on academic merit.
