The University of Saskatchewan Graduate Scholarship offers fully funded opportunities for international students pursuing master’s and doctoral programs. To qualify for the University of Saskatchewan Graduate Scholarship, one must meet the following requirements:

- Scholarship Eligibility: Recipients of the University Postgraduate Scholarship (UGS) must be full-time, fully qualified students continuing in their program or in the process of being admitted to a postgraduate program.
- Program Duration: Students applying for or holding a UGS must be in the first 36 months of a master’s program or the first 48 months of a doctoral program.
- Academic Requirement: Applicants must maintain a minimum average of 80% as a continuing student or meet the entry average as a prospective student.

- A cover letter outlining the progress or anticipated progress of your graduate program
- Current Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Summary (up to 500 words) of the proposed research program and its start date
- Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended, excluding the University of Saskatchewan
(2) Submission of Recommendation Letters:
- Three confidential letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with the student’s academic achievements must be emailed to graduate studies. premii@usask.ca. Respondents should mention the name of the scholarship and the name of the student in the first paragraph of the letter.
