Undergraduate:
The amount of the scholarship is determined solely on the strength of your academic record, the scholarships are classified according to the following three levels:
Level A: $11,998 per year (2 sessions, which is equivalent to 30 credits) or $5,999 per session (15 credits) or $399 per credit
Level B: $5,718 per year (2 sessions, that is equivalent to 30 credits) or $2,859 per session (15 credits) or $190.60 per credit
Level C: $2000 per year (2 sessions, that is equivalent to 30 credits) or $1000 per session (15 credits) or $66. 67 per credit These amounts apply to tuition fees of $23,662 per year (30 credits).
Master’s:
As an international student, you can benefit from a partial waiver of the additional tuition fees normally required of international students to support your higher education.
$9,420 per year (3 sessions, that is equivalent to 45 credits) or $3,140 per session (equivalent to 15 credits) This amount applies to tuition fees of $27,300 per year (45 credits).
PhD:
International students can benefit from a complete waiver of the additional tuition fees normally paid to international students, to support their higher education.
This exemption grant allows you to benefit from the same tuition fees as Quebec higher education students. $19,339 per year (3 sessions which is equivalent to 45 credits) or $6,546 per session ( that is equivalent to 15 credits) for the duration of your studies. This amount applies to tuition fees of $24,300 per year (45 credits).
Eligibility Criteria for Université de Montréal Scholarships:
To be eligible for the University of Montreal Global Excellence Scholarships for Postgraduate, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English.
- Eligible countries: Applicants from all countries of the world.
- Residence Status: Must have a study permit and not be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen. Enrollment Status: Must be enrolled full-time for the duration of their program.
- Exemption Status: Must not be receiving another form of tuition exemption from another policy or program. For example, French and Belgian students who speak French already benefit from such exemptions.
