  • The qualified applicants must have completed their senior secondary education with good grades in their major courses, or the equivalent of about 12 years of schooling.
  • Not be receiving any other scholarships; and • Be in good health and willing to participate in any necessary examinations following selection.

Regarding the Master’s Program:

  • A minimum of a “Very Good” academic status is required. Work and/or research experience is preferred.
  • Prepare a research proposal in one of the program’s areas of study that highlights the project’s scientific and developmental significance for the nation or community.
  • Be in good health and willing to participate in any necessary testing following selection.Possess a master’s degree in one of the program’s areas of study in order to be eligible for a PhD.
  • A minimum of a “Very Good” academic status is required. Work and/or research experience is preferred.
  • Prepare a research proposal in one of the program’s areas of study that highlights the project’s scientific and developmental significance for the nation or community.
  • Be in good health and willing to participate in any necessary testing following selection.

For Post-doctoral Research:

  • Possess a PhD in a subject area that the program has authorized.
  • Maintain a minimal academic status of “Very Good.”
  • Possess a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in the research sector.
  • Need to have a track record of research and publications in the same discipline.
  • Prepare a research proposal in one of the program’s areas of study that highlights the project’s scientific and developmental significance for the nation or community.
  • Be in good health and willing to participate in any necessary testing following selection.

Regarding Training in Vocational Education (VET):

  • Nationals of any one of the 21 IsDB LDMC nations.
  • Attained a minimum of excellent marks in major subjects upon completion of high school;
  • Did not get any additional scholarships; and Be in good health and willing to participate in any necessary testing after selection.

Requirements:

  • Maintain good health and consent to participate in tests following selection
  • Sign the Scholarship Agreement provided by the IsDB, which states their commitment to completing their education and serving their communities and nations after graduation;
  • Respect the laws of the country of study and maintain good personal and professional conduct consistent with the rules, regulations, and objectives of the Program and the overall mission of the IsDB;
  • Register with the IsDB Alumni after graduation to network with other alumnus and keep the IsDB informed about their progress and achievements in their communities/countries.
  • Devote themselves to their studies full-time and without interruption, and provide the IsDB with progress reports on their studies on a regular basis.

(1) Apply for admission to the institution or college of your choice.

(2) Complete the application form for the IsDB scholarship.
