Scholarships by the Maryland 4-H Foundation

  • Must intend to enroll in a recognized college, university, or post-secondary technical training program for both the fall and spring semesters of the 2024-2025 academic year.
  • Each applicant is eligible for only one (1) scholarship per year, for a maximum of two (2) years.

Scholarships by the Maryland State Fair

The Maryland State Fair is offering four (4) scholarships worth $2,000 each, dedicated to F. Grove Miller, for Maryland students enrolled in a four-year college, post-secondary institution, or trade school.

Additionally, there is one (1) $2,000 scholarship in memory of Marlin K. Hoff, specifically for a Maryland student involved in a dairy project and enrolled in a four-year college, post-secondary institution, or trade school.

Eligibility extends to all Maryland residents who have participated in past editions of the Maryland State Fair. Recipients must be pursuing a four-year degree at a college or vocational institution.

Scholarship By Richard W. Collins

The scholarship initiative, known as the Richard W. Collins III Leadership with Honor Scholarship program, advocates for the state’s interests in fostering diversity within student populations and ensuring inclusivity in ROTC programs.

Eligibility is open to individuals identified by their educational institution as belonging to a minority group or historically underrepresented in ROTC programs. Applicants must be:

  • Enrolled full-time at specific institutions: Bowie State University, Coppin State University, Morgan State University, or University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
  • Participants in a ROTC program.
  • Verified as eligible for in-state tuition by their institution.

Eligibility Criteria

Scholarship Offered By The Eastern Regional Chapter

Application Requirements:

Ancestry: Must have Korean heritage, such as a Korean parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent, or be adopted from Korea.

Enrollment: Must be enrolled as a full-time student at a school located in one of the specified Eastern region states (Delaware, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia) for the entire 2024-2025 academic year.

Academic Performance: Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Financial Need: Must demonstrate a need for financial assistance.

Scholarship By Got a Spine

To qualify for the Arctic Chiropractic “Got a Spine Scholarship,” applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Enroll in a college or university by October 2024.
  • Maintain full-time enrollment by October 2024.
  • Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher in the previous academic year.
  • Attend a school in either the United States or Canada by October 2024.
  • Submit responses to the essay questions before the deadline at 11:59 PM EST on the specified day. It’s important to note that students from any field of study are eligible to apply.

The Odenza Vacations College Scholarship

To qualify for the Odenza Vacations College Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria: 1) Fall within the age range of 17 to 24 as of September 1st, 2024. 2) Complete the essay question provided on the application page before the May 1st, 2024 cutoff. Reside in either the United States or Canada. The recipient of the scholarship will be announced approximately six weeks after the deadline and will be promptly posted on the website. All applications must be received by 11:59 pm ET on the deadline date.
