Santander Scholarships are grants and financial aid worth £30,000, it is awarded by Santander Universities, a division of Banco Santander. These scholarships is provided to support researchers, university students, and staff in their educational and professional development.
The Santander Scholarship will be awarded to candidates who ideally reside in the countries of the Santander Universidades program: Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Germany, Ghana, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Uruguay, United States.

Santander Scholarship Benefits
The 100 successful applicants will receive the following items
During the 3-year program:
£30,000 of funding
£10,000 per academic year
This includes an annual grant of £8,500 to be spent as loans
Santander Aspire Online Shop and/or Cash Out
– £1,500 must be used as credit for purchases in the online store
– The maximum monthly spend is £2,000, (which includes purchases via
online store and cash withdrawal)
Personal Development Grant £1,500
– You must allocate this funding to the activity that supports yours
personal development
– The withdrawal of these funds will require your approval
responsible for relations with the University of Santander
– You must provide a reason for withdrawal
– Maximum 2 cash withdrawals per academic year

Eligibility for Santander Scholarships
To be eligible to apply,the following criteria is to be met:
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must be a full-time student at one of the partner universities of the University of Santander and complete your undergraduate course in 2025. All degree disciplines are welcome.
- You must identify as part of at least one of the underrepresented groups listed below. Learn more about eligible groups.

household income or low socioeconomic status
2. Black, Asian and minority ethnic students
3. Mature students
4. Disabled students
5. Care experienced students
6. Carers
7. Students estranged from their families

- You must qualify for home student status.
- Must not receive more than £1,500 per year in external sponsorship
for your degree, for example, other resources such as
Industry bodies/employers (basic university scholarships and government grants do not affect your eligibility).
