McGill University Scholarships are fully funded scholarships for international students in Canada. These scholarships are available for undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students. This scholarship offers up to $8,500 for undergraduate students and a modest amount of scholarships for master’s and doctoral students.
The objective of the program is to make the University more accessible to those facing financial difficulties by combining other sources of funding such as government aid, Aboriginal gang support funding, part-time work , parental support and other sources of funding.
McGill Scholarships offers a merit-based entrance scholarship program and a need-based entrance scholarship program to all newly admitted first-year and undergraduate students.
Similarly, the Office of Scholarships and Student Aid administers a course-based financial aid program that provides modest amounts of loans and/or grants to currently enrolled graduate students in need of additional financial assistance.
McGill University is committed to supporting the academic studies of qualified undergraduate students seeking financial assistance. The University Entrance Scholarship Program offers admission scholarships to students from low or moderate income families who demonstrate financial need. Those eligible to apply include all: newly admitted first-year students and first-year undergraduate students entering professional programs in medicine and law.

How to Apply for McGill University Scholarships:
To apply for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program at the university.
International (non-US) students who wish to apply for the University Entrance Scholarship program must submit a CSS Profile in addition to the McGill Minerva aid application.
Students can apply for course financial aid at any time during the academic year as needed. Applications are always linked to the current academic year (September-August) and are available in August each year.
