Government-Funded Scholarships in Mexico:

1. Mexican Government Scholarship Program for International Students (AMEXCID Scholarships)

The Mexican Government Scholarship Program for International Students is the main government agency responsible for managing scholarships in Mexico, which reports to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This scholarship covers: Tuition fees, a monthly stipend of MXN 4,800 for graduate students and MXN 5,400 for graduate students and researchers, basic medical insurance through the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS). And according to the scholarship, the international air fare can be covered, the domestic transportation can be provided.

2. National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) Scholarships

CONACYT offers scholarships mainly for scientific and technological research, supporting Mexican and international students pursuing higher education.

This scholarship covers: tuition fees in selected Mexican institutions, a monthly stipend ranging from MXN 6,000 to 10,000, depending on the level of study and location, basic health insurance.

3. Program for the Strengthening of Educational Quality (PFCE)

PFCE aims to improve the quality of education in Mexican institutions, offering scholarships for projects that contribute to institutional improvement.

This scholarship covers:
Variable funding for educational projects, covering materials, equipment and personnel. And financial support for students involved in research in the project.

This scholarship covers: partial or full tuition fee coverage for language courses and short-term university programs. Allowance for living expenses during the exchange period. Air ticket for the host country.
