Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the Birkbeck International Scholarships, the applicant must meet all of the following requirements:
- Required language: English
- Eligible countries: Africa (Sub-Saharan), Asia (Central Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia and East Asia), Caribbean, Latin America and MENA (Middle East and North Africa).
- be a tuition-paying international student with an unconditional offer for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate program taught by Birkbeck, starting in autumn. You must be assessed as an international tuition fee paying for be qualified.
- resides in a country in the region in question
- be a self-funded.
- be classified as an “international” payer.
- Only one scholarship can be offered per student, and the scholarship cannot be held in conjunction with another scholarship.

You must be a citizen and resident of one of the following territories: Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Bahrain, Kuwait, Tunisia. - Application form for persons ordinarily resident in North America
You must be a citizen and resident of Canada or the United States. - Application form for people habitually resident in Latin America / Caribbean
You must be a citizen and resident of any country in Latin America or the Caribbean, except Brazil. If you are a Brazilian citizen, you may be eligible for the Birkbeck Global Future Scholarship (see above). - Application form for people habitually resident in sub-Saharan Africa
